Rosmarinus officinalis
One of the most popular oils after lavender and tea-tree. It is a reviving and stimulating oil helping to keep the circulation, heart, kidneys, liver and gall bladder in good working order. It is often used in the treatment of tired and aching muscles. A good oil to aid concentration as it will combat fatigue. A good oil to vapourise in a room as it will purify and disinfect the air, good to combat winter cold and flu airborne viruses. May be used as a final rinse on the hair after washing to help with dandruff and hair care.
PRINCIPAL ACTIONS: INVIGORATING, REFRESHING, PENETRATING, STIMULATING, ANTISEPTIC.
APPLICATIONS: TIRED & ACHEING MUSCLES, AIDS CONCENTRATION, COLDS (IF USED IN A BURNER), HAIRCARE.
USE: BATH: 2 DROPS INTO A RUNNING BATH.
INHALATION: 3 DROPS IN A BURNER OR 1 DROP ON A TISSUE.
MASSAGE: 2 DROPS PER 5ml CARRIER OIL.
BLENDS WELL WITH LAVENDER, CEDARWOOD, CITRONELLA, FRANKINCENSE, JUNIPER, PEPPERMINT, PETITGRAIN AND PINE.
